Overall Grade: A+
The Barstool Sportsbook currently provides daily odds boosts and custom promotions to bettors located
in the American states of Arizona, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Colorado,
Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, and New Jersey. It made its online debut in Pennsylvania in
September, 2020. In addition, online casino games and retail betting are available some states and live
in-play betting and a mobile app are also on offer.
Ease of Use: A–
The Barstool Sportsbook website appears to be a little cluttered when first arriving on it. All of the
sports betting options are listed at the top of the page but you need to scroll across to view them all.
Below the sports you’ll see a few promotions and popular betting options while the majority of the
menu choices are listed down the left hand side of the page.
These options include live in-play betting, the casino, sports, promotions, preferences, the house rules,
betting limits, contact support and the log in area. The site is in English only and I don’t see any other
style of odds other than American. The basic mainstream sports are available for betting on including
Australian Rules Football, cricket, cycling, darts and volleyball. However, there isn’t an option for live
audio or streaming of any of the events.
Meanwhile, the contact page enables customers to converse with the customer support team via live
chat, email and telephone and there is also a helpful FAQ page which answers many popular questions.
Everything you need to get around the site can be accessed from the home page but the font is a bit
small and the layout takes differs slightly from most traditional sportsbooks. It may take a little while to
get used to where things are located, but once you do there should be no problem navigating the
website and mobile app.
Reputation: A
The Sportsbook is an offshoot of the popular Barstool Sports blog website which features articles and
podcasts etc. The company is promoted by the likes of controversial personalities such as Dan “Big
Cat” Katz and Dave Portnoy. Barstool is owned by The Chernin Group and Penn National Gaming and
runs several ventures under the Hollywood Casino brand. The Barstool company began in Boston in
2003 with a print publication and launched an online version in 2007. The company now has its
headquarters in New York City and formerly had a radio show. It’s now the sponsor of the annual
Arizona Bowl college football game.
Sign up Process: A
If you’re hoping to sign up and create an account with Barstool’s mobile service you’ll need to
download the app from the website first. To register you’ll need to provide the usual information which
includes a user name and password, email address, your full legal name gender, date of birth and the
last four digits of your social security number for verification. Also required are your phone number
and address and you can use a Barstool promo code if you have one. You also need to be at least 21

Overall Observation
Barstool offers plenty of sports betting and casino options to keep bettors happy and busy and can also
be accessed via the mobile app. The banking options are plentiful as most states allow you to use online
banking, credit cards, debit cards, check, wire transfers and electronic payments such as PayPal,
PayNearMe and Apple Pay. However, be aware that the state of Iowa doesn’t allow credit card deposits.
The Barstool sportsbook website may take a little time to get used to, but in the long run it delivers all
of the sections and information needed to enjoy a fine betting experience. The company hopes to
expand into more states in the near future and the Barstool sportsbook and casino can be followed on
the following social media platforms; tiktok, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
Barstool’s previous online popularity and presence was a definite bonus to the company when the
online sportsbook was launched as they already had a fine reputation and a huge following. Users of
the online sportsbook and casino definitely won’t be disappointed with what they find on offer, such as
the loyalty program and fantastic promotions and bonuses.
